Philadelphia Flyers beat Nashville 4-1
The Nashville Predators lost for the first time in six games on Thursday night when the Philadelphia Flyers beat the Predators by a 4-1 score at Wells Fargo Center.
Ilya Bryzgalov was in net for Philadelphia and made 26 saves on 27 shots on goal. Pekka Rinne, winner of 10 consecutive games, had the night off. Anders Lindback was in goal for Nashville. Lindback made 24 saves on 27 shots on goal.

The Flyers scored first with just 4:19 left in the first period when Simmonds wrist shot beat Lindback through traffic.
Flyers rookie Matt Read scored the lone goal of the second period.
With the score 2-0 heading into the third period, Ryan Suter got Nashville on the board at 8:37 into the final frame to cut the lead in half. But with just over 5 minutes to play in regulation, Jerred Smithson was called for interference and the Flyers took a 3-1 lead on Simmonds power play tally, his second goal of the night with 4:41 left in regulation.
The Predators return to Nashville to host the St. Louis Blues on Saturday night at Bridgestone Arena. The Blues play Los Angeles Friday night before playing in Music City on Saturday.
